Awarding grants

Awarding grants to provide seed-corn funding for collaborative projects is critical to the Crucible programme and it is suggested that you have between £15,000 and £50,000 available to fund between three and four projects.

Introducing the collaborative funding proposal, and the potential for grants, commences at the end of the 3rd Lab and (or if there is a 4th Lab proposed this can be introduced at the same time). The purpose of the 4th Lab is to work on collaborations and grant proposals; a suitable deadline needs to be put in place for receipt of grant proposals depending on whether there is a 4th Lab or not.

The attached document includes more detail on collaboration, the grant proposal process, the grant review body and timings.
